העיר קסטוריה היא עיר יפה ויחודית במערב מקדוניה קרוב לגבול האלבני, בנופים מרהיבים, קרוב לאתרי סקי המפורסמים של יוון, גלישות צוקים וטיפוס צוקים, קסטרויה קרובה הרבה יותר לסלוניקי, רק שעתיים נסיעה, עיקר ייחודה של העיר קסטוריה, במבנה העיר על גבעה הנמצאת בתוך אגם, כמין אי עם חיבור מאד צר ליבשה, בתוך אגם orestiada סביב האגם ברבורים, ברווזים, סירות ואפשרויות לספורט מים מגוון מאד.

כביש באורך 9 קמ סובב את האגם עליו יושבת העיר קסטוריה, בחלקו טיילת יפה מקומות מרגוע, מעגנות לסירות דייג מקומות לדייג חובבים וגם אפשרות למצוא פינות להתבודדות לשחיה ועוד.
ועוד לא אמרנו כלום על האופי העירוני, קסטוריה היא מרכז פרוות עולמי (ככזו היא מעוררת את התנגדות הירוקים בעולם) פעם היו בונים, כן החיה המענינת הזו חיה פעם באגם ובנחלים הזורמים איליו, כיום מביאים את הפרוות בעיקר מרוסיה,כאן קיימת המומחיות בתפירה, בנוסף קסטוריה היא מרכז חקלאי, מרכז ספורטיבי ובעיר כ 20000 תושבים.

קצת היסטוריה על קסטוריה : בעבר הרחוק היתה קסטוריה בירת מלכי מוקדון ונקראה קילתרון, אחר כך עברה בין נסיכות אפירוס לבין הביזאנטים, מתקופה זו יש בעיר כנסיות עתיקות רבות מעל 50 המושכות אנשים המתענינים בתרבות ביזאנטית מכל העולם, תמיד אפשר לראותם פוקדים את האתרים, ברחובות הצרים המפותלים והתלולים בעיר. בשנת 1385 נכבשה עי העותומנים ששלטו בה שנים רבות והוכזרה ליוון רק 1913 בהסכם לונדון בוקרשט, קאסטוריה נפגעה מאד במלחמת העולם השניה, אך יותר מכך במלחמת האזרחים שלאחר המלחמה העולמית, בין הקומוניסטים לבין המלוכנים.

קאסטוריה מתאימה מאד לטיולי "פרח" או טיולי כוכב, הזמן הטוב יותר הוא בקיץ כשבשאר יוון חם מאד, או בחורף לעוסקים בסקי, מכאן צפונה לflorina עיר יפה קטנה כ10000 תושבים עם בתים בסגנון תורכי, המזכירים את ''ביטולה'' ''אוכריד'' ברפובליקה של מקדוניה או ערים בבולגריה קופריוושיטה או פלובדיב, וכן אפשר לנסוע מכאן לאפירוס לקניון ויקוס וליאנינה ולחזור באותו היום וגם מזרחה לערי המצוק אדסה, נאוסה ווריה ועוד.

Right to enter into civil marriage, are all foreign, non- resident in Greece, which can be found on Greek territory even on a temporary basis, who have tourist visa whose term has not expired

A. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR THE civil marriage between OF ALIENS, non- permanent villagers OWN EXPENSES GREECE

Request (issued by the office of the municipality)

Clarifications in that regard to the documents

The public documents that have been drawn up in the rest of the world by public authority, should be presented in the original the original version (foreign language). These documents shall not be refunded after the marriage is performed.
The translations of public information available documents should be made by an official authority (Greek Consulate or Translation Service Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
For those that have signed the Hague Convention (1961), the public documents must bear the specific validation of the Hague Tribunal, namely the attack of επισημειώσεως ΑPOSTILLE (special stamp affixed by the competent authority).
For those countries which have not signed the Hague Convention (1961), the public documents have to be ratified by the Greek Embassy in their country. If there is no such ratification, will be sealed by the Embassy in Greece, will be validated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Αρίωνος 10, Psirri) and then will be the translation.
For the Syrians, in addition to the above, necessary and special approval from the interior ministry and the Embassy of Syria.

Clarifications in that regard the marriage is performed

At least one (1) month before the marriage is performed, if the above documents checked by the competent office of the Municipality, fixes the date, the time and the venue of the wedding.
For each pair which will be entered into marriage, essential is the presence of two (2) witnesses with photocopies of ids or passports. The witnesses will be declared to the competent office of the Municipality up to one (1) day before the marriage is performed. As witnesses may attend any adults over eighteen (18) years, an independent family relationship or other relationship with the μελλονύμφους.
